Ireland’s World Cup kits have been accidentally released early by clothes retailer Next, of all places.
The clothing retailer published the new kits on their website before manufacturers Canterbury or the Irish Rugby Union even had chance to unveil them.
If the botched launch was far from ideal, neither was the reaction to the jerseys Johnny Sexton and co will be wearing out in Japan.
Many fans were unsure about the designs for the kits – particularly the alternate kit.
And as a result, plenty took to social media to express their displeasure and confusion at both the design and the bizarre leak.
One Wales fan even remarked that Warren Gatland’s side would be wearing a better green jersey than Ireland…
